Our pure mushroom grain spawn comes fully colonized and ready to expand. We grow the grain spawn in 6 lb filter patch bags. Chestnut is great to grow in supplemented sawdust, on straw like oysters or on logs and creates large clusters of beautiful brown mushrooms.
